Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
AAXLO is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. AAXLO is currently established in France and is in the process of relocating to Singapore; this policy will be updated to reflect that change when it takes effect. Controller: AAXLO, sole proprietorship (entrepreneur individuel) — Alexandre Matencio. SIREN 878 616 119. VAT FR51878616119. Registered address: 139 boulevard Maxime Gorki, 94800 Villejuif, France. Contact: hi@aaxlo.com
2. What data we collect
We only collect what we need: • Information you give us through our forms — your name, email address, phone number, business name, website URL and any message you send when you request an audit or contact us. • Limited, anonymous usage data — our privacy-friendly analytics tool records aggregated statistics such as pages viewed, the site that referred you, your approximate region and your device type. It runs without cookies and without persistent identifiers: we do not build advertising profiles and we do not track you across other websites. We do not knowingly collect data from children and we do not process special-category data.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
Under the GDPR and France's loi Informatique et Libertés, we rely on the following legal bases: • To answer your enquiry and prepare your audit — on the basis of the steps taken at your request prior to any contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and on your consent where you tick the consent box on a form. • To measure and improve our website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how our content is used (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Because our analytics are anonymous and cookieless, they fall within the analytics solutions that France's CNIL exempts from consent; you can still object at any time (see "Your rights"). • To meet our legal obligations — where the law requires us to keep certain records (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)).
4. Cookies and analytics
We keep cookies and similar storage to a minimum. We do not show a cookie banner because we set no tracking cookies: we use only a few strictly necessary/functional cookies, and our analytics run without cookies. Strictly necessary / functional (no consent required): • i18n_redirected — remembers your language preference. Up to ~1 year. • aaxlo_splash_seen — remembers that the intro animation has already played during your visit. Cleared when you close the browser. Analytics (cookieless, exempt from consent): • Umami — our self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics, served from stats.aaxlo.com (website ID 1901d0b6-3115-415d-b76e-6d4ef2061f81). It sets no cookies, uses no persistent identifiers and produces only aggregated, anonymous statistics. No data is shared with advertising networks.
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run AAXLO, and only as far as needed: • Hosting — Hostinger International Ltd., which hosts this website. • Scheduling — Cal.com, if you choose to book a call with us. These providers act as our processors under written agreements. Our analytics are self-hosted, so usage data stays on infrastructure we control.
6. International transfers
AAXLO operates internationally and our clients are based in France, elsewhere in the European Union, and outside it (for example the United States). As we move operations toward Singapore, some data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on a European Commission adequacy decision where one exists, or otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate safeguards, so that your data continues to receive an essentially equivalent level of protection.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and audit information only as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship with you, and then for any period required to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Where you tick a consent box on a form, we keep a record of it for as long as the law requires us to be able to demonstrate it. Analytics statistics are anonymous and are not tied to any identifiable person.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out beforehand. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hi@aaxlo.com and we will respond within the timeframes set by the GDPR. If you are in the EU and believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law, including our move to Singapore. The date shown above indicates when it was last revised. For any privacy question, contact us at hi@aaxlo.com.
